Buyer/Seller Feedback

The Feedback System provides Members with useful information on past buying experiences with other Members. It can be a valuable tool when used properly. Any feedback is public, so be sure to make only fair and factual comments.

The feedback Members leave each other is not ad specific.  A Member can only leave one rating per specific Member.  If the Member attempts to leave another rating for the same Member, he can only modify his existing rating and comments of the Member in question.

Feedbacks should only be given to Members with which you have purchased a product or service. Any attempted feedbacks given by a Member which did not purchase a product or service from the other Member, will be deleted.  Repeat violators may have their membership suspended or cancelled.

IMPORTANT: If there is a dispute, try to resolve the differences before leaving feedback.

The Seller’s overall feedback information is displayed in the upper right hand area of every ad they place on the website. This information consists of the following:

  • The Seller’s Username
  • The Seller’s Feedback Score (This will be explained later)
  • The Seller’s Positive Feedback Percentage (This will be explained later)
  • The date the Seller became a member
  • Read Feedback Comments” link to view past comments regarding the Seller’s previous transactions
  • Leave Feedback” link where the Buyer enters feedback on their buying experience with the Seller
  • Ask the Seller a question” link allows any member to can ask the Seller a question regarding the ad

What is the Seller’s Feedback Score?

The Feedback Score is calculated by subtracting the total number of negative feedbacks from the total number of positive feedbacks. The purpose of displaying this score is to provide Buyers with an additional way to identify the more active Sellers that have received a larger quantity of positive feedbacks.

Please Note:
This measurement is dependant on the Seller’s total overall feedback experiences. Sellers with higher Feedback Scores have typically sold more items and have received more overall positive feedbacks from Buyers. HOWEVER, this does not necessarily mean that a Seller with a lower Feedback Score is problematic. Always review all the information available about the Seller’s past transactions to gain the best overall picture. If you are still concerned about doing business with the Seller, you should consider contacting them directly to answer any of your concerns.

What is the Seller’s Positive Feedback Percentage?

The Positive Feedback Percentage is calculated by dividing the total number of positive feedbacks by the sum of the total positive and negative feedbacks. This calculation looks at the entire feedback history of the Seller.
